Sky Travel is an excellent Astronomy program for the Commodore 64.

First published in 1984 by Commodore the program was re-released by Microillusions in 1988.

The program contains a database of celestial objects numbering in the thousands, hemispheric and topocentric views, latest NASA stellar and planetary ephemerides, skies from 12,000 years in the past to 8,000 years in the future, and accurate celestial representations that take into account the effects of polar precession and nutation.

Accompanying the program was an excellent manual (138 page bound book from Commodore and 60 page glossy manual from Microillusions).

But the program doesn't stop at being "an all encompassing Astronomy program."

The programmers knew how to have some fun as well. The manual informs you how to change the sky mode cursor to a space ship shape (suspiciously similar to the U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek) but it does not outline the Easter Eggs hidden in the program. The list of Easter Eggs was printed in the June/July 1985 issue of Commodore Power/Play Magazine and is presented here so you can get the full Sky Travel experience.
